Talo, a new online healthcare service founded by entrepreneur Gavin Bell and pharmacist David Massie, has launched in the UK. The Glasgow-based platform offers discreet access to treatments for sensitive health issues, starting with erectile dysfunction.
The service allows users to complete an online assessment in under five minutes. Responses are reviewed by a pharmacist at Eastwood Pharmacy, a GPhC-registered Scottish community pharmacy group that handles Talo’s clinical and dispensing services. Where appropriate, treatment is approved and delivered the next day.
Talo’s initial focus is ED, a condition affecting millions of men in the UK, many of whom delay seeking help due to embarrassment or inconvenience. The process is fully digital, with no video or phone calls required, and medicines are sourced through regulated UK pharmacy supply chains.
The company plans to expand into other areas including hair loss, low testosterone, women’s HRT, weight loss and at-home blood testing. The longer-term goal is to build a broader online healthcare platform focused on more proactive and affordable everyday care.
